If you have been unable to locate digital versions of books that you need through the library’s Discovery search or its licensed eBook collections, please try the free eBook sources below. These are especially helpful for older books that are no longer under copyright (“public domain”). Also, some free eBooks are also available directly from publisher sites or other smaller eBook sites. Try searching in your favorite browser for the title.

HathiTrust Digital Library
Representing over 50 universities, the HathiTrust currently boasts more than 10.2 million volumes, equaling some 3.5 billion indexed pages.

Users can search by keyword, author/title, subject, etc. The subjects covered include African American history, business, cooking, world history, literature, political science, religion, and more. Kindle versions are available when listed.
