After you've done some background reading on your topic, the next logical step is to locate books that will help you begin your bibliography and further your research.
Tip: Use keyword searching to locate books by topic or subject. Find a book that looks promising and open up the record to see what other subject headings that pertain to your topic. Select those and see what other books we may have that share those subject headings.
Remember .... Take advantage of technology.... take your laptop along with you into the stacks to help you find what you need!
TIPS:
Browse HENRY by subject
When you find useful books on your topic, use the subject headings in the catalog records to locate related books.
Use the bibliographies in books to expand your search (tips for determining if a citation is for a book, a journal article, or a chapter in an edited book)
Try searching terms in the notes field, as well as the title and subject fields (see screenshot above).
