Citing Sources

APSA Style

WHEN CITING: Articles from a database that were originally published in print should be cited as a print journal (i.e. don't include a URL or database name).

  • See p. 49 of the APSA Style Manual for an example.
  • Tip: Look for page numbers. Articles published in print almost always have them and will appear in your citation.

Additional Note on APSA Style

The APSA Style Manual for Political Science is derived from the Chicago Manual of Style.

If you need additional guidance, please refer to the Chicago Manual of Style page.
