Henry Buhl Library is excited to announce a renovation starting in summer 2021. This multi-year project will result in a beautiful and state-of-the-art facility that will better meet the evolving needs of the Grove City College community. Unfortunately, this means construction and some impact on library users and services.

This guide provides information on the phases of the project and how they will affect your access to the library collections and services. Check here and on the library’s social media for the most current updates. We appreciate your patience during the project.

The following questions/answers are for the Summer 2021 closure and access to services.  The library will remain open and full service through finals week.

The library will close for construction starting May 12th. The library staff will be working in the Curriculum Library beginning May 17th. Available hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - Noon and 1pm - 4pm

Email Us!  Refdesk@gcc.edu  Library staff will be working on campus and remotely during the summer months and will be monitoring the email box and forwarding your emails to the appropriate person.

Starting May 12th, we will not be able to retrieve any books in our collection. We will post updates on when the library staff will be permitted to page books from the stacks.

YES! Please use our Book Request form ( InterLibrary Loan Request Form ) Pickup and returns will be at the Curriculum Library during office hours. This service is only for faculty and staff.

Yes! We will continue to offer document delivery to all GCC students, faculty, and staff with no interruptions.

Yes! You can email the Refdesk (Refdesk@gcc.edu) for book renewal requests. We will begin accepting book returns in the Curriculum Library starting May 17th. Available hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - Noon and 1pm - 4pm
