Research for the Real World

Welcome to Research for the Real World

Have you ever wondered how you can use the research skills that you learn in college writing papers and working on projects after you graduate from college? This event series is designed to help you understand the real world importance of the skills you use to research like critical thinking, analyzing information, and organizing your ideas to help you out in the real world. We will be partnering with different departments on campus to cover different topics and provide helpful tips, tricks and resources that you can use after GCC.

Our first event in the series is called Find your Place. We are partnering with Career Services to help you learn about resources to help you find a job, internship, and navigate real world decisions to help you find the best place to live and work. Use the links on the left to register for this event and keep an eye out for future events in this series.
