Summer Online Courses

Summer Book Circulation:

If you plan on using any books from Buhl Library, you will need to check them out before you leave campus.   The books will be due the 2nd day of classes of the fall semester (August 30th).

Of course, you may come to the library and check books out all summer.   Just make sure to check the library's website for hours!

Summer ILL info

Interlibrary Loan Services are NOT available for summer courses:

Why not?     TIME is the main concern. The duration of the course, coupled with the amount of time it takes for delivery, renders ILL an impossibility for summer sessions.

So what can you do?  ---  If you are a PA resident, check out Access Pennsylvania for access to books from other libraries. Non-PA residents should ask their local library about similar services that may be available.

You may also use WorldCat to search for books ~~~ this is a global catalog of library collections. You can search for books, music, video, articles and much more at a library near you

Notes for students using other libraries over the summer:

When going to a new college/university or public library, the privileges to guests may not be the same as those at your home library. Introduce yourself upon arrival and find out what services will be available to you.

Please keep in mind, most libraries permit guests to use on-site collections, but may not allow them to borrow materials or access the library’s electronic resources.
